Kenilworth Common
Now a splendid Local Nature Reserve, Kenilworth Common has a long history traced back to its creation in 1756.
Wyken Slough
This site covers a marshy area to the north of Wyken Pool within a larger Local Nature Reserve. The reserve attracts wintering birds, such as snipe and reed bunting.
Windmill Spinney
This reserve contains an old garden with mature trees and grassy areas. They provide an excellent habitat for woodland and garden birds within the urban area. This is a peaceful spot in a residential area.

Whitnash Brook
This reserve is a 2km wildlife corridor with pond, marshy grassland and woodland. The reserve is noted for its invertebrates found in decaying wood within the brook.
Welches Meadow
This reserve is a flood meadow on the south bank of the River Leam, which is particularly valuable for butterflies and dragonflies.
Rough Hill Wood
This reserve contains ancient woodland on a hillside. It is predominantly oak with more diversity of wildflowers on the lower slopes. Coppicing has been reintroduced to the wood and there is a small area of heathland.
Radway Meadows
These sloping fields sit in an historic Civil War landscape and are in the north east tip of the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Beauty, the only AONB in Warwickshire.

Parliament Piece
Designated an Local Nature Reserve, Parliament Piece offers a range of habitats with attractive open rough grassland, impressively tall trees, old hedgerows and a pond.
Managed as hay meadow, the grassland is dominated by coarse grasses, thistles and docks, providing ideal habitat for skipper and brown butterflies. Sometimes, hundreds of meadow brown can offer an impressive sight, dancing amongst the grass.
