Helping Hedgehogs
An illustrated talk by Carol Cook and Rosie ?? of HOBO's Hedgehog Rescue based in the Wye Valley. Learn how we can all protect and help hedgehogs throughout the year, and especially now that bonfire night is near and hibernation time is not far away. Find out what happens when hedgehogs need more specialist care and the wonderful work done by dedicated hedgehog carers.
Fascination Of Fungi
Fungi play a crucial role in the balance of ecosystems. Elsa Wood, a retired ecologist, will in this talk give a brief introduction to the role of fungi in ecosystems and look at some of the interesting species in different habitats.
Honey Buzzards
Steve Roberts has spent over 30 years working with the rare Honey Buzzard, a special woodland raptor. He is a much sought-after specialist who climbs to study and photograph this bird. He tells us the story of his work.
