Durham Wildlife Trust's purpose is to protect wildlife and promote nature conservation. We manage nature reserves and deliver conservation projects to protect our region's wildlife, and provide education and volunteering opportunities for thousands of children and adults every year.

Essex Wildlife Trust is the county’s leading conservation charity, it manages 87 nature reserves, 1 nature park and runs 7 visitor centres. The aim of the trust is to conserve important wildlife areas so that people can enjoy them whilst educating and engaging local people through visitor centres and events each year.

Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust is the county's leading conservation charity. We work to protect and conserve natural habitats for the benefit of Gloucestershire's wildlife and people. We manage over 60 Nature Reserves, educate over 2,000 children a year and run over 100 events giving people the opportunity to get closer to wildlife.

Avon Wildlife Trust is the largest local charity working to protect wildlife in the Avon area. With the support of over 16,000 members we look after 35 nature reserves, campaign on issues which threaten wildlife and encourage everyone to be more concerned about our natural environment.

The Alderney Wildlife Trust is the sole body caring for the island's environment. We help to maintain two nature reserves and the island's internationally important wetland (Ramsar) site. Our work is helping to secure the future of many important habitats and species, whilst striving to make Alderney a sustainable community for the future.
