Uxbridge Grove is a small but important oak woodland site in Hillingdon borough with a series of ponds attractive to a range of amphibians.
The woodland consists of trees such as ash, yew and sycamore, in addition to some veteran oaks, while several clearings and an area of grassland which attracts butterflies and other invertebrates.

Amphibians: Common frog, smooth newt, common toad
Birds: Long-tailed tit, jay
Invertebrates: Speckled wood, peacock, holly blue
Plants: Reed sweet-grass, yellow flag, water-plantain, water-starwort, rowan, hawthorn, yew, ragged-robin
Facilities at Uxbridge Grove
There are no public facilities at the reserve but the Red Lion pub on Royal Lane and a café on the Uxbridge Road are a five-minute walk north.
How to get to Uxbridge Grove
The entrance is at the end of the Robinwood Grove cul-de-sac. Buses 427 and A10 stop in Hillingdon Hill, a 10-minute walk away. Uxbridge (Piccadilly and Metropolitan lines) is the nearest station, a 30-minute walk away.

The reserve is open at all times.
Accessibility at Uxbridge Grove
The main footpath around the reserve is well surfaced, with a boardwalk at one point and a viewing platform by the main pond, although there is a slope near the entrance.
