Big Garden Birdwatch - Alderney 2014

Date / Time
Start date:
Sat, 2014-01-25 (All day) - Sun, 2014-01-26 (All day)
Time details:
The birdwatch can be conducted at anytime throughout the weekend but must take place for a continuous hour.
Summary:
Alderney takes part in the National Garden Bird Watch for the 12th year, come along and have a go!

Every year the RSPB coordinates a nationwide effort to understand what is going on in our gardens. By surveying what species of bird, and how many, appear in peoples gardens we can begin to understand any changes in the populations of some our most popular species.

The count can be done from the comfort of your own home, looking out at the bird feeders in your garden. Alternatively you can join the AWT staff in counts at Longis bird hide at 10am on both the Saturday and Sunday.
