Volunteer work days: Centenary Riverside
Practical volunteer days at Centenary Riverside are held on the second Monday of every month. Tasks vary from footpath improvements and access work, to habitat and vegetation management. All volunteer days start at 10am and finish at 3pm. Gloves, tools, and refreshments are provided, but please wear suitable outdoor clothes and boots, and bring some lunch and drinking water if you're able to join us for the whole day.
Meet at the entrance to the reserve on Riverside Way at 10am.

Practical volunteer days at Blackburn Meadows are held on the second Thursday of every month. Tasks vary from footpath improvements and access work, to habitat and vegetation management. All volunteer days start at 10am and finish at 3pm. Gloves, tools, and refreshments are provided, but please wear suitable outdoor clothes and boots, and bring some lunch and drinking water if you're able to join us for the whole day.
Meet at the end of Steel Street, just over the canal bridge (approximate postcode: S61 1DF, parking available).
Traditional Rakemaking - Sun 27 April 2014 - FULLY BOOKED
Bradfield Woods open air workshop offers protection from the rain and a fireplace should it be chilly! All wood, tools and expertise will be supplied on the day. All you need is warm clothing, strong footwear and a packed lunch. There will be a small charge of £6 per person on the day towards materials. Tea, coffee and biscuits included in the price.

All volunteer days start at 10am and finish at 3pm. Gloves, tools, and refreshments are provided, but please wear suitable outdoor clothes and boots, and bring some lunch and drinking water if you're able to join us for the whole day.
Meet at the Forestry Commission car park on Woodhead Road at 10am.
*The December work day will be held on the third Friday, rather than Boxing Day!
