Work Party at Tiptree Heath Nature Reserve
Bring hardwearing clothes, according to the weather, and a snack for the break. Gloves and tools will be provided. Additional work parties are held on some Saturdays.
Directions: the heath straddles the B1022 (Colchester-Maldon) and is 800m on the Maldon side of Tiptree.
Public transport : a regular bus service runs between Maldon and Colchester runs along the B1022 past the heath.

Join us for a fantastic morning at Balls Wood learning some essential bush craft skills - how to create the perfect shelter, build the best fire and make your own camp-fire food. This is a free family event but please book in advance as places are limited. suitable for children aged 6-11 years. Please bring an adult with you! Sorry, but there are no toilets available on site.
