This workshop is aimed at those who want to learn to photograph the array of bird life overwintering at Lackford Lakes.

From garden birds that come to the feeding station to the various species of wildfowl on the lakes there will be plenty of subjects to enhance your photography skills such as birds in flight.  This course is scheduled to finish at dusk so hopefully we will get a beautiful sunset so we can shoot silhouette images of the birds coming in to roost on the lakes.

Join Kevin Sawford, professional photographer, on this stunning reserve and discover the great array of wildlife here.

Scheduled for the longest day, the course will run from mid-afternoon to dusk so there should be the opportunity to photograph a variety of wildlife. As the temperature drops towards evening the insects will start to rest up, making photography easier, and at the end of the day we hope to see the resident barn owls hunting across the marshes.

Kevin will demonstrate the necessary photographic skills to shoot great images of all the subjects you will discover on the reserve during the course.
