The half day visit will introduce you to one of our smaller and less visited reserves at Williamston, which encompasses habitat such as calaminarian meadow, a riverside, and woodland. We will help you to look for tracks and trails of the resident animals, identify rare Northumbrian plants, and give you a trail pack to take away to use for future visits.

This event aims to introduce new members to the site. We anticipate high demand for places, so we recommend booking below to secure your place. 

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Starting at 11am and running until 3pm, The Big Lunch at Moseley Bog will be offering the chance to take part in a range of fun activities, as well as being a great opportunity to learn more about your local wildlife while meeting and sharing food with friends old and new.

Join our foot tapping Ceilidh, and ejoy a range of real ales, wines and ciders , as well as live music from traditional Irish band, Blarney Stone and local musician Mel Meskew.

A year ago five nationally renowned playwrights went to north Devon to explore what the rural environment means to its people. They got to know old farming families, incomers and returnees. They met rural life in mugs of tea at farmhouse kitchen tables, on windswept hills, under rusting barn roofs and from backies on a farmer's quad bike.

Tickets must be booked via Walsall council's www.bandsonthebeacon.co.uk website for this music event at which we will be putting on kids activities. Full line up and other details are also on their website.
