Haden Hill House and Park (B64 7JU) are located west of Halesowen Road near Old Hill. Access is gained from Barrs Road by turning up Lee Road (the junction being just after the entrance to the Haden Hill Leisure Centre). The Council Offices which used to be at the junction of Barrs Road and Halesowen Road are now a new Community Fire Station. The car park for the House is signed off Lee Road and cars can be parked at the car park or at the car park immediately behind the House itself. We will meet at the car park near the Upper Pool and the Bowling Greens (adjacent to the House). Good footwear is advised and just in case it may be best to bring something to keep the rain off.
The site looks great at the moment. Let’s hope we get some warm evening sunshine and see plenty!
