Undersea Explorers
Learn how to snorkel and explore a simulated marine environment at the lido with artificial, but life-like starfish, crabs, jellyfish and more. Play games and find out about local marine life. For children aged 7-11yrs of all swimming abilities. Parents can join in too on certain sessions! Sessions start at 11am, 12noon, 2pm and 3pm and last 45min. Booking essential.
Hounds of the Heath Guided Walk
Hounds of the Heath is Knettishall Heaths dog group for all the dogs and their walkers on the reserve, and is co-run by Suffolk Wildlife Trust and Dog Learning Zone. These regular dog friendly guided walks are a chance to find out more about the group and the site, discover new walks and are a social hub for both people and dogs!
No need to book. We meet in the middle car park at 10.30am and walk for roughly 1 - 2 hours. Dogs on lead please.
Wild Beach Club
Activities such as den building, campfire cooking, scavenger hunts and boat building for children aged 7-11 years.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, all the family are invited to stay and join in!
Meet at the car park at the end of Hurst Road and cycle with us to the New Lane Bridge by the saltmarsh.
