Meet us at the centre for an atmospheric night time walk through the reserve. Gather round the fire in our Bronze Age roundhouse for some seasonal stories. Wild Side: Make a splash with river invertebrates
Join us for a summer morning of river dipping activities in Greno Woods, as we make a splash in river serching for the creatures that make this place their home. Meet at the Low Hall Wood enterance on Hall Wood Road for a wander into the woods.
Suitable for families with young people over 8. Suggested minimum donation of £2 per child for members of Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust; £4 per child for non-members.

Himalayan balsam pulling on the Dockens Water
Himalayan balsam is a non-native, invasive plant which was introduced to the UK in the nineteenth century. It has ‘explosive’ seed pods which shoot out the seeds. If the seeds fall into a nearby watercourse they can be carried along in the water to invade land further downstream.
