Find out about the amazing lives of egg-laying animals on a trail around Woolley Firs and complete the challenge for a wildlife-friendly chocolate reward. The Ingrebourne Valley Greenway - a 4km hardened pathway suitable for bicycles, pushchairs and wheelchairs running through the site from Hornchurch Stadium, north of Hacton Lane, to Albyns Farm in Hornchurch Country Park. There are also a number of informal pathways throughout the site.

Join Essex Wildlife Trust for a circular walk around the entire sea wall at the Naze.

This Boxing Day join Naze Education Ranger, Ben Eagle and others for a relaxed walk around the sea wall at the Naze. Starting and ending at the Naze Tower you can expect to see a number of different birds on the salt marsh and beaches outside the sea wall as well as on Walton Hall marshes. We will meet outside the Naze Tower at 10am.

A very special little owl has set up home at a private residence in Stanstead Abbotts. With the householder's kind permission, we are thrilled to be able to lead a special, one-off, strictly limited numbers walk to see this stunning little bird. The walk will be led by Jenny Sherwen and Darren Bast, Amwell Reserves Officer & Volunteer Warden. Darren has been keeping regular watch on this cheeky little fellow at its roost, so fingers crossed it will be at home to visitors on the day!
