Inishcreagh

Inishcreagh is an island in Upper Lough Erne, Co. Fermanagh, preserved now as a link to the primeval forest which once covered our shores. This undisturbed haven is composed of a mosaic of mature parkland, oak woodland, and botanically rich grassland. The island is grazed by feral goats. It is also home to NI Priority Species such as mistle thrush and otter. Our staff make annual visits for monitoring and biological recording purposes.
