Directions: in Dumney Lane, Great Leighs. Take the road to Felsted and at the St. Anne's Castle Pub in Great Leighs, Dumney Lane is the first right turning.
Public transport: regular buses run to St. Anne's Castle Pub from Braintree and Chelmsford.

Tree-mendous Fun Day, Massey's Bank
As part of our project to improve the woodlands in Massey's Bank through the Nature Improvement Area, we are arranging a day of activities to encourage everyone to enjoy the space.
There will be games, craft activities and trails to learn more about what makes woodlands so special. Drop in whenever you like through the day - there is no advance booking required.

We need your ideas about what you would like to see happen on your local nature reserves and find out how we could help you to enjoy them!
What can you expect from your local green space?
To be given opportunities to be involved in the care and maintenance of your green space, as well as the running of activities and walks in your local area.
Free refreshments and home-made cakes will be available.
Craft activities will also be provided for children.

Nest Box Making
Booking is essential at Leaplish reception on 01434 251000. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This is an outdoor activity, so please wear appropriate warn, waterproof clothing and footwear. It takes about 30 mins to make a box.
All money raised is donated to Northumberland Wildlife Trust.
Hidden Gems of Barnburgh
The walk will start at the Church Hall, and follow around the fields to Cliff plantation.
If you have any stories about the local area, we'd love to hear them on the day.
After the walk take a look around the Church Hall, where there will be a display kindly provided by Barnburgh and Harlington History Group.

One of a series of wildlife walks which will incorporate brownfield, coastal, canal and marshland sites. Meet at the top of Brynglas Drive by the garages. An enjoyable walk around ancient semi-natural woodland.
