Tents, tales and bushcraft at the Centre for Wildlife Gardening
Join us this half term for a two day course suitable for families learning about how to survive in the wild. Activities will include identifying edible plants, fire-lighting and den building. There will even be a few spooky stories told around the camp fire.
This course is free and is suitable for families with children of all ages. Please book in advance.
Course runs over Thursday 30th October and Friday 31st October.

Festive fun at Brandon Marsh ( All)
The session incorporates a Christmas themed wildlife and sensory walk, with a glittery art and craft session. Children will also get a free drink of squash and a cookie.
Tameside Conservation Group October Task
This month, the group will be clearing undergrowth from around trees and plant a slection of native bulbs to help restoration of the woodland.
Everyone welcome and no experience necessary.
Meet at the south end of the lake, just north of meadow bank.
Town Wall October Workparty
This month our Town Wall Conservation Group will be carrying out some scrub maintenance along the paths and bramble cutting in the meadow.
This is a great way to get outdoors, meet new people and learn new skills.
All welcome meet at the end of Sycamore off Hockley Road.
