Non--members of the Trust are very welcome.

Please dress for the outdoors and be prepared to get mucky - wellies, waterproofs and sunhats, depending on the weather.
Ideal for ages 7 - 12 years.
Marshy Mondays

Hands on Archaeology and Heritage, Redwick

Bat Evening in the Brecon Beacons
Join us for a fascinating talk from expert bat ecologist, Steve Wadley at this remarkable late-medieval farmhouse in the Llanthony Valley, recently restored by the Landmark Trust. After hearing more about these marvellous but much-maligned mammals we will be walking over to Gwent Wildlife Trust’s Strawberry Cottage Wood Nature Reserve with our bat detectors to see what wildlife we can discover.
To really get a taste for bat life, food samples will be provided by Grub Restaurant on an insect theme! (Bug tasting is not compulsory!)
Coastal Path Walk
Join Gwent Wildlife Trust expert local ecologist Andy Karran for a 6km return walk along the Wales Coastal Path from St. Bride to Peterstone Gout and back. You’ll find out all about the little-known saltmarsh habitats and mudflats beyond. Enjoy the sights and sounds of some incredible coastal wildlife, including a diverse range of waders and other wetland wildfowl.
