These one day courses for adults working with children / young people will develop skills used in Forest School or Outdoor learning sessions.There is a mixture of theory and learning and will be based outside.
They are run by Essex Wildlife Trust Outdoor Learning team and located in the Beautiful Abbotts Hall Farm with woodland, meadows, gardens and two Forest School sites. Abbotts Hall Farm Great Wigborough Essex CO5 7rz
This course will provide you with lots of inspiration, practical activities and games to enhance your Forest School delivery with Early Years Foundation Stage.
We will explore the following:
- Woodland games and activities
- Woodland wildlife through the seasons
- How to use basic tools for woodland crafts
- Making links to the EYFS curriculum
- We will be based at the Essex Wildlife Trusts under 5's site
