Please join us at Spencer Road Wetlands where we will be celebrating the completion of the Wandle Valley Big Green Fund project and the installation of a brand new boardwalk in this beautiful nature reserve.
We will have guided walks at noon, 2pm and 4pm and staff and volunteers will be present to chat and talk about the reserve and our work there.
The reserve was once used for commercial watercress cultivation and signs of old industry still exist, if you know where to look!
These days the reserve is a peaceful haven for wildlife, maintained by a hard working team of local volunteers.
Entrance is on the corner of Spencer Road and Wood Street, Sutton, CR4 4JS
