Inspired by rake makers such as the late Trevor Austen from Kent and craftsmen who had worked at the Little Whelnetham Rake Factory, David began making rakes in 2002, using wood grown in East Anglia. As an experienced furniture designer and maker and lecturer in furniture studies, David has combined his skills to run green wood courses for small groups.
