WILD WIZARDS
Come along and be a Wild Wizard at this family focused event.
Create an invisibility mask, collect plant materials, make a spell and create a dragon! Learn about the scowles and the animals found here.

AUTUMN ANCIENT WOODLAND WALK
Join us for a colorful autumnal walk at Collin Park Wood nature reserve.
We’ll be exploring a ancient woodland, discovering fungi, and learning about how we manage this majestic site.
Due to the length of the walk it is probably not suited to very young children.
Dogs on leads are welcome.
BIG DRAW
Come along and get creative in the woods!
Part of the ‘Big Draw’ this family focused event gets us using natural materials to create all sorts of creative arrangements such as magic carpets, colourful crowns, faces in the trees or much more!
This event may not be suitable for very young children due to activities involved, so parental discretion is advised for those under six years.

FOSSIL HUNT ADVENTURE
Join us for a fun fossil hunting adventure at the famous site, Hock Cliff.
We’ll be looking in the clay and limestone along the River Severn for fossils from the Jurassic period such as ammonites and ‘devils toe nails’ whilst learning about the species that lived there over 180 million years ago!
Due to the terrain this event may not be suitable for children under six years, parental discretion is advised.

BRILLIANT BRYOPHYTES
Always wanted to know more about bryophytes? Well here’s your chance!
Come along to a session with Peter Martin, County Recorder, and learn to recognise some of the 1000+ bryophytes (mosses and liverworts) we have in the UK.
Using a combination of fieldwork and microscopes we’ll learn to identify this unappreciated group of plants.
Due to the activities involved it may not be suitable for those under 12 years.

WOODLAND SAFARI
Join us for a ancient woodland safari to see what makes it so special.
With autumn approaching we’ll be searching for dormice and other small mammals, tracks and sign and learning about the surrounding trees, leaves, fungi and lichens.

BADGER VACCINATION TALK
Come along, meet the vaccinators who work to vaccinate badgers and hear about how our badger vaccination programme is progressing in its third year
With two more years to go, what have we learned and how many badgers have we vaccinated?
TWILIGHT BAT WALK
Even though seldom seen, many species of bats live quite comfortably alongside us in our urban environments.
Join us for a guided walk and talk, whilst we learn about and hopefully see some of our local bats. We’ll have bat detectors so we can listen out, and will be able to give some tips on how to spot, identify and conserve them.
The event is open to all, but participants will need to remain still and quiet, so please use your discretion when bringing young children.

GARDEN TOURS AT SUDELEY CASTLE
Join us on this specially designed tour which has been created by Lyn Hall and Jon Hodder, Head Gardener, to show you some of the inspiring projects that have been undertaken.
For over 15 years Sudeley has been gardening organically and supports hundreds of wildlife specifies within its many niche gardens, castle ruins and medieval stew pond including slow worms, toads, bee orchids, disease resistant elms, bumble bees, dragonflies, king fishers and nuthatches to name a few.
