Uxbridge Grove
Uxbridge Grove is a small but important oak woodland site in Hillingdon borough with a series of ponds attractive to a range of amphibians.
The woodland consists of trees such as ash, yew and sycamore, in addition to some veteran oaks, while several clearings and an area of grassland which attracts butterflies and other invertebrates.

Meet at: Rodborough Common/Mousehill Down main car park, GU8 5BL (access from A283 Portsmouth Road, through Milford, towards the A3). Height barrier at entrance. If you reach the A3, you’ve gone too far.

Dragonflies & Damselflies
The course can be booked as a whole or individually. This week we will be focusing on dragonflies and damselflies. We will meet at Newdigate Village Hall for a short talk by SWT Education Leader Katharine Trotman, followed by a walk around the lakes at Newdigate Brickworks Reserve.
