Join us for the weekly survey of the reptiles and amphibians of Parc Slip Nature Reserve.

We will be going out to survey the reptile refugia and other likely reptile habitats. Everyone welcome, no prior knowledge needed- just an interest in wildlife! As we hope to get up close to these amazing animals in their natural habitat, a camera is recommended. Booking is essential as spaces are limited for the Reptile Rambles. Join staff from NWT in a survey of wildflowers within the East Cemetery in Amble.

We will be looking for and identifying common flowers and grasses and passing on top tips for ways to distinguish them from one another.

We will be offering advice on how best to manage an area for wildflowers and will also be on the lookout for butterflies and other insects that benefit from having sites where flowers are allowed to flourish.

We are working together with ‘On The Edge’ Fusion Youth Orchestra, a Birmingham-based charity that supports learning and music making for local young musicians who recently won funding from Superact to produce a special event at Moseley Bog this summer.

There will be four hours of free live music performed by local emerging and professional musicians selected from local colleges and the Birmingham Conservatoire. The bands will be playing a wide mix of music including punk, spoken word, ska and jazz, with something to please most musical tastes.
