Community Work Days at Moss Valley Woodlands
We run monthly Community Work Days at Moss Valley Woodlands usually on the second Friday of the month. Meet at 10am in Dowey Lumb. Come along for the whole day or just a part of it. All help is greatly appreciated. Please bring lunch and a drink and wear old clothes and stout boots. We will provide work gloves and tools.
Volunteer Work Party: Bare ground creation
Please let the work party leader know if you would like to attend so we can estimate numbers and tools required. Text message is best as staff are often out on site with no easy phone or email access.
If you are not already a registered volunteer, or need more information, please call the Volunteer Development Officer on 01483 795464 or email volunteers@surreywt.org.uk to join.

Wild about Stafford Workparty: Kingsmead Marsh Local Nature Reserve
Join our Wild about Stafford volunteers to help cut the reedbed on this wetland site in the centre of the county town.
By cutting and removing the reeds, we stop the reedbed from drying out, ensuring local people can continue to enjoy the site located on an existing floodplain.
Meet at either Homebase car park at 10am, or North Walls (parking charges will be reimbursed).
No experience needed, all tools and equipment including refreshments will be provided.
