This beach has some of the best rockpools on the Island. See the graceful pipefish which wrap around seaweed, watch the hermit crabs scuttle around the seabed and with luck we might even catch a glimpse of the extraordinary European eel. Rock pooling is a brilliant way of engaging your child with nature.
Meet: The car park on the beach, Port Mooar is just south of Maughold at 10am
