Mini Bio-Blitz
10.30am - 4pm
Have a go at meadow sweeping and contribute to this mini bio-blitz. Discover what wildflowers and insects can be found on this chalk meadow landscape. Drop in and join anytime.
Site access can be found off North Down Road, follow the path beside Fisheries Farm, look out for a path to the left in once reaching the wooded area, this will be before descending down hill, careful it's easy to miss.
Guided Walks
11.15pm and 1.45pm
Join in on one of two guided nature walks and learn about the history of Hutchinson’s Bank, how the grassland supports special wildflowers such as orchids and an abundance of butterflies.
Meeting by the wooden bear sculpture, across the road from New Addington tram stop.
Guided walks are approximately 1hour long.
This event is run in partnership with the New Addington BID as part of the London National Park City Festival.
