Burncoose is a 30 acre magnificent woodland garden with many rhododendrons, magnolias, azaleas and camellias. The garden is tucked away behind the famous Burncoose Nurseries - a winner of over 20 RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medals. The Cornwall Wildlife Trust has been given special access to the whole of this hidden treasure. Most of the gardens are open daily for free but for our open day the Wildlife Trust visitors will have access to the whole 30 acres including the recently refurbished grand Burncoose House and its immediate garden. It is thanks to the Williams family who have lived at Burncoose since 1715 that we will have this amazing opportunity to visit the oldest part of the Caerhays Estate. Refreshments.
