Jo has run very successful and enjoyable courses for us over the last few years. .
You will make your own lovely woven willow hedgehog sculpture, with step by step guidance from Jo. Once a simple framework is made, the weaving begins, with the aim of making a strong structure and flowing shape. Twiggy prickles are added in stages as the body is worked, then finally the nose is finished and little feet are made. After a careful trim the hedgehog is ready to settle into your house or garden!
Handouts and inspirational reference books will be available. Price includes all tools and materials.

NOTE: Willow weaving is moderately hard work and does require a firm grip, and the flexibility to bend over and squat down occasionally.
The course is suitable for beginners or those with some experience. Numbers are limited to just 12, ensuring plenty of hands-on help.
